Neurosurgical Association of the Dnipropetrovsk Region (“NADO”) exists from October, 2007, when on general meeting it was accepted a decision about creation NADO and regulation of organization is ratified. An association has status of legal entity. A purpose and task of Association is a presentation and protection of legal social, economic, professional and other interests of members of Association.
Purpose:
- to present and protect interests of members of Association in the central and regional organs of state power and management;
- promote an introduction of the new domestic and foreign technologies in the field of neurosurgery on a voluntary basis jointly with authorities;
- promote of creation of public consultative or observant councils, to initiate creation at regional Soviet of folk deputies and Councils in the cities of region of deliberative and expert bodies of specialists on neurosurgery;
- to conduct monitoring of current legislation and bills on questions of activity of Association, to systematize obtained information and in the case of necessity to give consultation to the members of Association;
- to organize for members of Association the scientific and practical conferences, symposiums, meetings with invitation of the leading scientists and specialists of neurosurgery;
- to protect actively the professional rights and interests of members of Association;
- to develop ethics norms and professional standard for the members of Association and control their observance;
- to give the members of Association the methodical and consultative help;
- to organize in the Dnipropetrovsk region the professional holiday “Day of neurosurgeon”;
- to cooperate with national and foreign public organizations and international ungovernmental organizations;
- to inform through printing and electronic MASS-MEDIA the representatives of public and specialists about the work and events which take a place in the neurosurgical service;
- to promote the organization of different sort of competitions, ratings among neurosurgeons – members of Associations which carry out the activity on territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region;
- to create mass medias in accordance with the regulation purpose of Association.
